Pick a subdomain
Common conventions: share.yourdomain.com, docs.yourdomain.com, proposals.yourdomain.com. Wildcard (*.share.yourdomain.com) is supported for per-client subdomains.

Add the subdomain in your tool
In Settings → Branding → Custom domain, enter the subdomain. The tool gives you a CNAME target (e.g. 'cname.sendmint.com').

Create the CNAME in DNS
In Cloudflare / Namecheap / GoDaddy / etc., add a CNAME record: name = 'share' (or whatever subdomain you picked), value = the CNAME target your tool gave you.

Wait for propagation
DNS propagates in 2-10 minutes typically. Some providers cache longer.

Wait for SSL auto-provisioning
Once the CNAME resolves, the tool detects it and auto-provisions SSL via Let's Encrypt. Usually 60-120 seconds.

Verify and switch
Open share.yourdomain.com — should load with a valid SSL cert. Flip the toggle in your tool to start using the new domain for outgoing links.

Tips

Use a wildcard CNAME for agencies (lets you spin up per-client subdomains).
Update DKIM and SPF records to send transactional emails from your domain too.
Keep your old subdomain reachable for 30 days so existing links don't break for in-flight recipients.
