Dataroom targets WCAG 2.2 AA across every surface — viewer, signature flow, proposals, forms, AI assistant. Here's what we've done and what we're still working on.
Color & contrast
Every text/UI surface meets WCAG 2.2 AA contrast. No color-only signals (we pair color with shape, icon, or text).
Keyboard navigation
Every action reachable without a mouse. Visible focus rings on all interactive elements. Skip-links on every page.
Screen readers
Semantic HTML, ARIA labels where needed, live regions for async updates. Tested in NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver.
Motion & animation
Honor prefers-reduced-motion. No content depends on motion. No flashing > 3Hz.
The video recorder timeline scrubber currently relies on mouse drag. Keyboard-only support targeted for Q3 2026.
Some legacy proposal templates use PDF-rendered blocks without alt text. New templates are HTML-native; we're migrating the back-catalog incrementally.
The dashboard's heatmap visualization conveys some information via color alone (paired with numerical tooltips). A pattern-fill variant ships in Q3.
If something on Dataroom doesn't work with your assistive technology, please tell us. Email accessibility@sendmint.com with steps to reproduce, your OS and assistive tech, and a screenshot if helpful. We aim to triage within 48 hours and ship fixes weekly.
If it doesn't, we want to know.
